Cremation - Prices Vary
If you do not have aftercare plans for your pets remains such as home burial or taking them to a crematory yourself, then Dr. Sarah can provide transportation of your pet to a local licensed crematorium. We offer either a communal cremation or a private cremation.
For a communal cremation the ashes will not be returned to you. A private cremation means that your pet will be individually cremated in a private chamber and the ashes will be returned in a rosewood carved wooden urn.
Cremation fees are not included in the fee for the euthanasia appointment.
Cremations are provided by a local licensed pet crematorium called Caring Pet Crematory in Sacramento. (www.caringpetcrematory.com)
Faithful Friend accepts payment in the form of cash, checks, and all major credit cards. We understand that sometimes this is an unexpected expense when a pet declines quickly. We do offer payment plans from ScratchPay which is a company that provides short term loan for veterinary services. If you are interested please visit www.scratchpay.com and fill out an application to find out if you have been approved. When prompted for the veterinary clinic type in Faithful Friend.
We also provide 10% discount on the euthanasia visit to seniors (over age 65) and to veterans. Note- this discount is is for the euthanasia only, not cremation services and you must request the discount when you book your appointment.
